LAN XXXVIII Booking Thread

Arriving Thursday 7th October for 3 nights, departing Sunday 10th October.

I've signed up, form done, hotel booked, flights booked, 2 COVID tests booked, spare Flow test in hand.

With a lot of logistical help from everyone but the UK and Dutch Governments, or the EU. Thanks Toby, Lion, Ghosty, Mr Bro, My old mates from London, my Wife.

Friday to Sunday, Toby kindly will pick me up on Friday and I humbly request a lift back to London Luton on Sunday to be there by 09:30 as I need to have a Lateral Flow Test to wake myself up before exiting your Black COVID country (according to the EU) and being let back into NL. Please don't give me COVID or you have to let me isolate at your house!

Sorry but I am no longer able to attend the LAN. My dad had a Stroke Sunday on his way to Scotland and I have been in Doncaster since then and will be here until Monday when we hope he will be transferred to a Hospital back in Kent. I have a room in the residence Thursday to Sun if anyone needs it before I let the hotel know tommorrow.

Hi Dean, really sorry to hear that. I hope things are going as well as possible and you can get him closer to home soon.


I'm currently having to change rooms half way through, so if no one else wants your room, I'll take it and I'll cancel what I currently have booked.

If this ends up going ahead, and you're able to call the hotel and let them know, just ask them to book it under Ben Pope and then let me know on here or via discord.

If you don't get the chance to call them let me know and I'm sure I can sort it.

In Luton Departures now, thanks to DD for the lift, and the negative test came back so I can go home. Thanks all who helped me out during the LAN [emoji16][emoji41]
