Katie and I have tickets booked to go see the Matrix's 4th (Possibly final?) instalment for release day at 6pm 12.22.21 <--(The American cinema loves that the numbers look this way in their calendar format so I'm using it here)

Anyone as hyped as we are for the film? We have just made it through a rewatch of the legendary original release, and are making our way through the Animatrix before relaxing with the sequels over the next weekends.

I'm a huge fan of the series and have loved the games etc that have accompanied it, and for those that don't know there is a free PS5 "Experience" released yesterday that is supposed to setup / tie in / hype up the coming film, I can't wait to try it this afternoon!
I also am particularly fond of theory videos around the matrix and I thought it would be nice to link one of my favourites here.

Otherwise have a great afternoon!

I am not at all looking forward to this Movie. I thought and hoped the franchise was done. Not because the films were not amazing, they were. Butr because every movie forced me to create a post like this and I should never have to write something like this and you should never have to read it either.

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

I can't wait to show Katie that old post its incredible lol :roflmao:

Also you posted that when I was only 16 years old :flirty: and I had taken some of my good friends to go watch Reloaded in the cinema, but they were all blue-pill'ers that didn't enjoy it at all... I on the other hand had to keep myself far away from black trenchcoat selling shops ( Luckily GOTH was something that never happened in any large way in SA High schools, that I was aware of at least lol)

Hell yes dude, I had it downloaded and waiting, and I love seeing the tech demo especially with some of the camera controls to see the triangles in action and the different entities etc, they could have let us at least shoot up some of the city though!

I remember there were a good few months after each of those films came out that it was impossible to just go to the pub with mates for beer and talk about sport/weather etc. Instead every Friday night would be a series of poorly understood and badly elucidated philosophical arguments/debates as people tried to "prove" whether or not we really could be in a simulation, whether God existed etc

I'm looking forward to it. Just look at the sort of discussions these movies spawned... Flawed as they are, they're a fantastic piece of pop culture for lots of us.

Oh, and we always need more Keanu.
