Due to a severe shortage of admins generally and especially this week there will be no match reports for Week 4. It's a massive drain on people's personal time and some admins are doing way more than their share atm.

Can I also take this opportunity to invite anyone who plays in the league to volunteer for admin work. We can't run this league without admins and I fear it'll have to be shut down if we don't get any volunteers.

Our rules for recruitment haven't changed though. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, be mature in nature, have a working mic and have at least a 512k connection. Training will be provided.

Please reply to this thread if you're interested leaving your IRC nick and channel I can find you in. Alternatively pm me (Imy) on IRC (#ukcsl). On a final note, we'll run this league properly or not at all.

I've had to permanently ban one player tonight from participating in UKCSL and have banned another for the rest of this season at least, for abuse and inappropriate behavour. Both players were from the same clan and the punishment fell just short of the clan being removed also.

Can I just remind players that we run this league for no personal benefit. No admin gets paid and the league does not make any money what-so-ever. We invest a great deal of personal time to run the league and we have no time for idiots who want to cause trouble. I will be quick and harsh to punish any team with disruptive players - there are no 2nd chances.

I think that it is really map specific. We would have done way better against that clan if we had played on e.g Inferno or Dust2. They were long range shots. In close combat we would have kicked their asses.
