I know I was not the only one to be very p***ed off at DuVeL this evening. He was swearing big time, clearly (to me) drunk in an aggressive manner. I and several others, told him to cool it to no avail. Now, if I was any kind of admin I would have kicked him, Given that a dMw Admin was present that would not have been my prerogative. In fact if he was not a dMw CHARLIE company he would have been given his marching orders. I'm astounded that his behaviour was tolerated.

Errr, I was on BA tonight and on Duvel's side but I didn't hear him swear.  Did this happen later?  I know he was alternating with a mate of his who was round at his house - are you sure it was Duvel?  I'm not trying to defend I'm just asking.

You weren't there at the time. And yes it was DuVeL!

Im quite horrified that a member of dMw is abusive on the server ....Duval is constantly pushing the limits of TCS in search of kills and will not except the judgements of the admins without a long discussion on the server

Well I've slapped him down twice int he last two days, but this is after a conflict with another Admin.  When personalities get involved it does become harder to be and keep discipline.

Warn them on screen as per Admin Standards.
Kick them if no heed is taken as per Admin Standards.
Do *not* engage in personal comments on the server under any circumstances.
Debate it on the forums and here in private.
Log it in Rogue's Gallery.

Good points TL. I'm going off to refresh my memory on the exact procedure to follow. Relevant forum is here

May I also point out the stark staring bleeding obvious - and this is aimed at everyone:

Everyone reading this thread is an Admin.
Every Admin should be prepared to *use* their rcon access.
Do not rely on another Admin to to deal with it.
Use Admin chat to discuss probs with other Admins on the server so that you know *who* will be dealing with it.

How Do I Use Admin Chat?
Press your usual teamspeak key (mine is "u")
Then press the double quote key (the one above the number 2 on your keyboard)
Then type your message - it will only be shown to other Admins.

Admin Chat is a quick way to pass info on to other Admins.
I regularly use it to ask an Admin on the other side a question about a player's behaviour or to ask them to have a voice-com word with a particular player.
If that doesn't work then issue an on screen warning as per the Admin Standards.  If that fails then kick them and log it in Rogue's Gallery.

ALL Admins should be prepared to do this - please do not rely on others to do it for you.  If you think someone else is dealing then use Admin Chat to check whether or not someone else *is* dealing.  If they aren't then deal with it yourself!
