Come game time, where should I be?

Peeps, I was not SL tonight (JAS was) but can I remind folks what an SL does and what role we play if we are in the SL's team:  

He sets the positions and the strategy for the team.

If he asks for 3 at bomb site A he means it.  Please don't go walkabout according to your own gameplan.  If you have a suggestion then please ask the SL and then wait for his answer before doing anything.  If he doesn't answer then go back to your assigned role and ask again at the next appropriate opportunity.  Then accept his answer as final (it may even be 'yes, good idea, go do it').

If everybody does what they are asked then you know where your backup is.  I had to call three times during the match tonight when I noticed we were short of players at my site.  This should *not* happen, ever.  Doing a Hans Solo left me on my own at top A to defend against the 5 rushing Ts (OB was on Long A shooting across top A, but I had all 5 shooting at *me*.  I like it better when I know my backup is right there with me, I also think it gives us a better chance of stopping them when there are multiple targets.

i wouldnt call it whinging its a good point ........lets work as a team then the results will come SL as a hard enough job as it is

Especially at A there. You don't have a chance against all of them, there should be a few more obstacles on the long side. Maybe a dust3 map?
