Basically it is a love story. He learns how to travel through time and by doing so he knows that if he dies the chain of events that lead to his girlfriends deatch will not happen. That is why he stays in bed as he knows the airplane engine will kill him and save her.

Well hey ho, I finally watched it.

s'ok. I quite enjoyed it. I enjoyed deciphering it through google afterwards more.
Bloody baby screamed in some major plot bits. :dummy:

Best bit is when he's talking with some of his m8's at the school bus stop, and his sister over-hears him:

Donnie: What happens if mum and dad find out about this?
Sister: You'll put Barbie in the trash compactor?
Donnie: Your god-damn right I will...
