Amsterdam is one of those places I know I have been to, yet cannot for the life of me remember much about.

Use google and do a whats on in amsterdam search. Or look for some guides to amsterdam, there is a lot more to it than the red light district and the coffee shops. It has some fantastic galleries and museums (not everyones cup of tea i know), a wealth of history, some fabulous architecture, markets and for the gormets amoungst us an enormous selection of resturants, not to mention the clubbing scene! As you can tell I rather like hamsterjam.

I can't help it it is in dutch but i can say in short words what it all means

Deze accommodatie ligt op een unieke locatie aan de rand van Amsterdam. Een eiland in het IJmeer, midden in de natuur en toch op slechts 20 minuten per openbaar vervoer van het centrum. Deze bijzondere plek is een ideale uitvalsbasis voor groepen om Amsterdam te bezoeken of het waterland van Noord-Holland te ontdekken.

Voorzieningen:
Naast een schitterend kampeerterrein, beschikt de accommodatie over een dertigtal 2-, 4- en 6-persoonskamers, ieder met een eigen voordeur naar buiten. De kamers zijn eenvoudig ingericht en voorzien van beddengoed en verwarming. Men maakt gebruik van de centrale sanitaire voorzieningen.
De accommodatie en zijn omgeving heeft alles en meer om een plezierig verblijf mogelijk te maken; bar met internetcomputers en pooltafel, kleine supermarkt, wasserette, fietsverhuur, kluisjes, parkeergelegenheid, etc. Daarnaast zijn de verbindingen naar de stad per openbaar vervoer en auto erg goed.

Omgeving:
De meeste bezoekers gaan natuurlijk naar de stad Amsterdam met al haar verlokkingen en musea. Maar de directe omgeving van de camping is zeker ook de moeite waard; het Flevopark met speeltuin en openluchtzwembad, op 5 fietsminuten het Noord-Hollands waterlandschap met de polderdorpen Durgerdam en Ransdorp, op 10 wandelminuten de beroemde Oranjesluizen met historisch Schellingwoude…. Kortom, ook als je niet naar de stad wilt, is er genoeg te beleven.

Now for all those who can't read dutch

As you can see above i have posted some pics with a little house etc.

I posted that because many of you wanted to go to A'dam in holland and see how that is and my idea was to make it more then 1 day so that we can do more then just walk around and hardly see nothing.

So i found a nice place that is close to A'dam (10 min with a bus) and also some other stuff around the park.

So we can go to A'dam and other places close by and do more stuff in 1 day.

To say a little more about that park:

There are 98 places so i think that is enough for us
They also have enough showers so don't be scared that you stay dirty all the time.
They can provide us with food. (breakfast and dinner) so that we don't have to take care of that. There are no dogs aloud and you may not make any fire (ofcourse you may smoke <_< )

That is little bit of info plz say what you think of it (that counts even more for you peter ) And if we all like it then i will see if we can go to it etc.......
