Yes he refed the Croatia game.

His name is Pierluigi Collina. Probably the worlds best referee at the moment.

You should remove the probably from that statement GFK - he's been the best for around 10 years.  If only we'd had him last night.....

He retires at the end of this year as FIFA, in their infinite wisdom, won't let refs go beyond 45 years (I think).  Great loss

I couldn't agree more but still I'm with my fellow countrymen.
Plus; You're entitled to your own opinion. They should be more furious, stop whining in the field and be harder. Now it looks like their playing like: Hey, I'm invited for a social soccer event. Ahwell, a bit of soccer, kick the ball a few times and I've earned a bit of money.
We need players who want to play soccer because they have been given a chance to play for the Dutch team. Not just for a few matches.
I hope you know what I mean.

Collina is an excellent ref. Maybe they could clone him?

I have to agree with you Ice. There were no really dangerous chanses in the normal playing time. Once silver goal started there were lots of good chanses for both teams. Penalty kicks is a really awful way to end it but it is the only way. GL in the rest of the tournament. Make sure you win over those Portuguise primadonnas.

It was a boring game with a few chances on both sides in the match. L8eron it got more exciting but I felt like seeing the English game again a bit. Lets see how far they come. I think they'll win from Portugal but after that..... No idea.
