CZ crashes system?

I bought CZ a few days gao, got it home and am having loads of fun with the single player mission.  So I decided I'd try playing it online.

I did all the importing into steam etc, then tried to connect to the server.  The connection progress bar gets to 2/3 of the way across then stops.  For a very very long time, and never finishes.

This crashes my PC and I have to press the reset button.

Anyone got any ideas, I wanna try it online?

It might be the updates for CS:CZ. I'm not sure. You might want to check if it's still updating while you're playing, I had it a few times, it was still updating and I'd try and connect, then it crashed.
