I think we should start recording demos for our clanbase matches. as in the past I have found it can sort out a lot of problems.

Dr Sadako

Me asks how to record/play a demo? Where is it saved?

[size=18]Demos

There are only a few demo commands to know

record demonamegoeshere
Start recording a demo

stop
stop recording the demo

playdemo demonamegoeshere X
plays a saved demo
X controls the speed at which the demo is played. Using playdemo demo1 1.5 would play the demo 1.5 times the normal speed.

stopdemo
stops demo that is playing

listdemo
list info on demo file

appenddemo demoname
record a demo, appending to the demo file already at half-life/valve/demoname.dem

removedemo demoname segment
remove segment from a demo

swapdemo demonam seg1 seg2
swap two segments' positions in a demo

setdemoinfo demoname seg1 info
add info to demo: info = title "text", play tracknum, fade

startdemos
start playing demos in a loop

demos
runs a loop of demos set with startdemos

end of stolen bit :-)

I use "GeekPlay" to view them. Get it here http://www.geekboys.org/geekplay/ as it means you only need to remember the record and stop commands :-)
