Lo all "reading the match report" dudes
where to start..... another ED raping yep thats a good start!
ntc were the usaul shit hot competition clan. when we tried to sit back and pick them off they hid. When we rushed they and 12 of their bigger older brothers brutally murdered us. As capo de tuti capi i properly mixed it up we split bridge and water we rushed doors and bridge and water en masse and it made no difference they were fast and hard when they rushed and they were silent and invisible when we rushed. However something that may be a slight gamble/inspiration is the fact that 99.9% of all the ED clans we have played always rush doors 1st round so in future ALL clan matches under my control will involve a 6 man defence with deagles/nades of the doors. We were outclassed big style on the actual shootin front tonite so nobody should feel bad cos shit happens (look up new york sep 11th 2001 for good example!).Tactics wise i don't think there was any rush/patient approach we did't try as T and as CT we stuck to where we were s'posed to and did what we could, as ct's we won 2 rounds with a big thank u to mr eggs for an inspired solo performance and mention in despatches for the very very last round. The other 22 rounds we tried hard but i refer back to above comments in that they could shoot a gnats dick off at 300 yards with a gat gun. I think we put a good performance in and dread to think what would have happened had we not had the praccy earlier against the zombies (nuff respect to the zombie massive) but hey even the supa L33t zombies would have suffered tonite against these bad boys. Lastly thanx to TeaLeaf for admining this at short notice and even bigger thanx to sqounk for making the ultimate sacrifice and dropping so that we could get this on, next time my friend, next time.

Fat "where did i put the germoline" Bob

ps: Both me and Doorman tried to get a demo going so you chaps could see what a gwan. But doorman crashed foist followed by me a couple of rounds later. I think we could have learned something tonite had a demo bin available or even HLTV cos they were a bit spesh and 2 rounds felt like a 24-0 to us, comments fellow rapies please, i just need to talk to someone   L8RS

pps: Excellent work on the comms dudes every1 bar none was quiet when supposed to be and shouted like madmen when required we're on the way so zombies watch out !!! (especially you sadako   (for killin me every round on the praccy))

Thanks, FB,    Have to say that last round did feel very good. i'm sure i felt all the support from the death-bench and that that helped a lot too  :D

Can't say much more to add to that report, except that what i think made NTC so good was not only they could shoot very straight, but then they would then capitalise on our weakness everytime.

For instance, if they took out a bridge defender, they would wait a while till the backup came, take him out too, then rush. They played very intelligently all the way through, it was almost what we were aspiring to in our Ghost strategy in the praccy, as in attack and weaken - fall back and attack again. The difference was their accuracy meant they had the edge and tended to win, rather a lot. They played just as intelligently as CT and thwarted all attempts until we had all but exhausted all of our startegies. Shame we couldn't follow FB's last resort plan of "flying around in circles above them and shoot them from up there..."

Overall though, i think we played as best we could and don't need to feel too embarrassed as the standard of play was higher than usual, despite the final score. As FB said, communication was so much better than usual too, well done everyone for that, and Well Done and thanks FB for some excellent leadership under very difficult circumstances (again!)  :D

If I could be allowed to refine FB's description somewhat and say that their accuracy led to gnat receiving the 'ultimate headshot'.  8O

8O  Have you taken TLs place?

I was lucky to kill you a few rounds in a row yesterday. I am sure that you will do the same to me next practice session.

There strength was definately in there shooting, several times i had a clear shot only to be raped by there dam fine shooting. ANother key aspect to there winning was there strategy which i really like and is i believe an extension to our own. Firstly they left the bridge room completely open, this meant that 3 of there guys would be very close to the DD, the water and backup calls from the tops site.

It didn't compromise there cover of the bridge room either, all of us can testify to the volley of fire that rained down on us. I think 2 guys would be covering the BR entrance and another guy the small side exit to the bomb site. With the rest of the guys moving in for backup. Allthough this played well for them i think it can be a week tactic as long as we have some damn god like shooters and a couple of well placed fb's into the BR main exit.

Another favourite spot, which again requires a good shooter to take out, is one cts guys posiiton on the middle wall support facing the dd, He took several people out, every round until we completely abbandoned any sort of door rush.

Despite the rapeage i enjoyed the game, good team leader, clear calls for backup, though there was the occasional one man left at either the top or bridge room site.
