EELS- Electron Energy Loss Spectroscopy. One of the techniques you actually can use when analysing a material by Transmission Electron Microscopy.

Oh ... yes I am finishing my PhD at the moment and around the week of the LAN is when I will send my thesis to print. It will be a most hectic period and it would be a very bad time to leave for 3 days.
I will present and defend my thesis at a seminar in the beginning of December. It looks like I have better chances of attending Lan VII. Still it was nice that someone was missing me.

If I know the LAN admins right all the CZ bots will be called "dMw^ Sadako #" ...

Sadako is really Dr Evil...and the LAN weekend is the weekend he is planning to TAKE OVER THE WORLD !!!!

Don't count on me

I can't make it, i tried to change things around so that i could come but i couldn't change all of the stuff.

We have 42 people attending LAN VI.
The hotel has 28 booked in to stay.
The other 14 are apparently electing to sleep on the street. :blink:

Get it sorted folks, the booking confirmation letters are coming out to you this weekend, so pick up that telephone and book it NOW!
