i personally think that just leaving the atendees off would be fine

we dont have a lot of space to play with

maybe leaving the shield off and just putting lettering, I NEED VIEWS ON THIS VERY SOON AS I NEED TO GET THEM DONE

Drop the attendees - it would be nice but unless we are ordering a stein instead of a pint glass there'll not be room.

I don't mind if we keep or lose the shield, I'll go with whatever.  If we end up going for a text version then we could expand the text a bit more due to the extra space?

The trouble is Benny that there may be no 'back' to a cylindrical drinking vessel.

Seriously though, if it is a mug then most etching is usually done on the side opposite the handle so that the handle does not get in the way of the etching tooling etc.  So there may be no back into which to insert said preferred saying.

now that i really like smite..... i think we have a winner, benny i to would like some thing like tht on the other side but its not possible unless we want to nearly double the price and i think that it would be far to excessive price for a pint glass
