Squads

We're going to try something new this year to get the teams sorted out well in advance.  

• Firstly, I will nominate 4 Squad Leaders.  
• These Squad Leaders will decide their team's name and competition tag.
• Squad Leaders are responsible for organising their own team's spray logo (if wanted).
• Squad Leaders will review the list of participants and rank them in order that they would pick them for their team.
• The ranked list will be sent by PM to me.
• I will randomly draw the 4 squad leaders names out of a hat in order to determine the order in which they pick.
• I will then hold the 'Draft'.  For each pick, the player highest on the list and not yet picked by another squad will be allocated to the picking squad.
• The teams when finalised will be posted in this section of the forums for all to see.

With luck, this system should provide balanced teams and give each squad leader the opportunity to select a team of their own choice whilst still being fair to all other participants.  As the ranking list is not public then there will be nobody who is left as the 'last pick'.  Anyway, that's my usual place, so go away and leave me to be miserable

I hope this is acceptable to everyone, squad leaders will be announced shortly.
