I have an animation that is a .gif file that i want to use as my avatar but its 30kb.  is there anyway of making it smaller?  if anyone has the technology and the know how and wanted to do it for me i would be more than willing to exchange beer for goods and services rendered but you'd have to come to Leicester to get it  :narnar:  (This offer is not open to Zok, Brass or Waster.  Zok knows how hard it is to get a round out of me    :lmfao: )

And secondly i wanted to put a piccy in my signature but guess what?  i dunno how :nevermind: .  I have an idea but i'm not 100% so a quick tutorial would be much appreciated  :thumbsup:

The piccie in your sig is easy. Just refer to it using IMG tags.  here is my sig:

You need to get an animation editor that allows you to see the individual GIFs that make up the animation. Then you can edit. Here is a starting point: Animated GIF Editors and Info

Is there a website where i have to create an album then i use the url for the image i want?  if so which is most user friendly?

You can upload an image to your personal webspace with your ISP and then refer to it from here if you want. (that's all I do)
