The new range-topping AIW ATI card is now out and features ATI’s new purple and gold livery which is meant to help you tell the difference between an AIW card and a non-AIW card.  Like all the extra dongles wouldn't give it away

Read the brief summary here.

I have this day inserted into my loved one an X800XT. Overclockers UK Connect3D OEM. Here. The first thing I did was to run HL2 video stress test. On my 9700pro I got 27fps. On this baby it is now 109fps and with extra FSAA and Anisotropic filtering. I am delighted! FarCry I had to play in 800x600. Now 1280x1027 and no holds barred!  :dribble:  :D    :dribble:  :D  :o    :winkiss:

What res where you running? 27 is very poor for 9700pro.At 1024 should be around 79-80 and at 1280 about 60-65.

At the time 1027x786 and that on a 22" monitor. I have also had some random crashes and lockups for a while. Maybe it was on the way out. Good job I replaced it just in time  :D

Rabbi Bob

I've been using AIW's since the AIW128 and I have to say that that is the sexiest looking AIW yet.  Stackable I/O modules? FM tuner (no XM, snuh?), they finally shrunk the tuner!?!

Holy crap!
