My command menu is ok. Mark my words, this is the thin end of the wedge. 1.6 will be no more. Face it, 1.6 is not of their making so why would it be supported by their infrastructure? If you want to be playing CS in the form it is (i.e. not CS2) then everyone should migrate to CZ and be done with it! We're doomed ah tell ye, we're doomed!

I really wish there was an avenue of court action one could take to force stop valve using the public as there QA team. It seems like they're constantly releasing half TANGO'd upgrades without testing them (using microsoft as a role model for application development has to be the most retarded thing i've ever heard).

I've been on the steam threads and there currently blaming the latest number of complaints of the linksys firm wear upgrade! now there blaming other companies hardware. I mean get a !*~#ing grip!

After upgrading my computer im really really really aggrevated and down right upset that im not able to even get into a game! I just want to punch someone in the face.

A platform update is available and will be applied automatically when Steam is restarted. The changes include:


STEAM CLIENT CHANGES / ADDITIONS:

Added Tools section to Steam UI

Fixed Japanese, Thai, and Russian characters drawing incorrectly under Windows 98

Fixed DoD:S showing up in the Steam monitor as downloading

Fixed HL2 preloading stuck at 89% for some users

Fixed condition causing "non-zero size of m_uMallocedBlock" message

Mmmmmm   since the last update I crash out of steam after EVERY game played and have to restart .....been on the steampowered forums and it seems this is quite a common problem .......and as yet has not been fixed


just wondering if anyone else is suffering with the same prob.

The code is :

Steam.exe(main exception):Win32 StructuredException at 00000000 : Attempt to read from virtual address 0 without appropriate access rights.


Damn annoying having to restart after exiting each game ....
