Well Urang Utang and me played NS for about 90 mins this evening!!!!
Well not played, learned. It is a complex beast but I can see it being totally enthrawling teamplay, with one commander running the show and the troops out there taking orders. The aliens look superb, UTang tried every one I think, even the flying one and the big one like a rhino. I even tried the jetpack which was fun.

I think we should arrange a trial game for an hour one evening to try it out with more players. Pings are apparently a bit higher on NS and sure enough my lan ping was 30 ms as opposed 5 or 6 with CS. But UTang had notlag on 130ms so it could work.

I'll post a new topic to canvas support for a game sometime.

im just starting to get into it but it is quite slow to pick up (it may be just me)  

i need to spend time as a commander as i dont have a clue with that part

also ill not be able to join this week as i am on some shift work :roll:

Nah not really, wasnt me, i enjoyed it actually.  Made a nice change, but was a bit annoying that despite my best afforts i couldnt get past even ONE of albert's damn defence towers.   :x

I think these defence towers are the most important part. If your commander gets killed then the Marines fall apart. You tried though and I did have 4 of them trained on you!    I thought the flying bat thing was smart.
