When making up network cables. dose anybody know which is the best type of end to make and why? (T568A, T568B or USOC) I always make T568B. but i don't know why!

This might help, and points to 568A as preferred - indeed required by the US Government.

568B harks from AT&T wiring i think, although also very common.

Ultimately, i figure that in the absence of a specified standard for your site, look at what's there already and match it. Else while leaning towards 568A, it ulitimately won't matter so long as you're consistent.

but you probably knew that already...!

Btw how the hell do you use a grappler( think i speeled it right), which connects the ends of the cables together......
