Oldie give me some ideas what ya want!!!!
Ive been looking around for some good piccies to use and mess with but i am running out of material to look for.

I would like a CS themed wallpaper at 1024 X 768 with the left-hand third being reasonably plain so I can easily determine the multitude of desktop icons that I really must get round to pruning one day.

The images are best sourced from in-game screenies.

The text should be in a rusty metal finish using the Niamey font.

Right not quite there yet i think but let me know if im getting close.
Got the right font ....Cant quite work out how to do Rusty yet but im still playing at it and trying stuff out.
Not an in game shot coz i think most in game shots are crap for res purposes but i have a few more piccies to play with.
If you have any plugins or know how to make rust effect let me know.

Rusted up as best i can get it.
The plugin blueball gave me i couldnt get to work properly (it made it bright green and not looking like rust at all so prolly somat im doing wrong) so i made up a texture that was close to the N42 webby background but it aint great.
Sorry oldie it is the best i can do until i figure out another way of getting more realistic.

Whether it is or not, the first version that you posted is still the best of the three.  I don't particularly like the text on any of them though, and I'm not sure why.

That picture is pretty cool.  Would it be possible to have more of the picture and a less abrupt fade-out?  Or maybe a background other than black.  Heh, it would be cool if you could just make the background one huge continuation on the explosion, but that might look a bit ... overkillish

The picture was not actually that big so where i cropped it, it had text and as to the extension of the explosion i think i could do it but it will take ages and i cant be arsed.
The black background is how i normally have it so i just continued with it but i m sure i could change it if needed for requests but nobody has made any requests yet.
The text is what oldie asked for so i just made some variations with it.
TBH im getting bored with trying to make this rust effect ive been in contact with VP from N42 about the way he made his and he gave me a large section he made but it still doesnt come out too good.
Tufty go for it i need someone else to have a go coz im the only one posting now.
