I still can't believe I am playing it!!!!  I spent £1200 on a new computer system basically to play this, and every single pound was worth it!  It feels like Christmas here!!!!!

ive been reading ppl arae having problems with  crashes to desk tops etc. I think alot of its todo with corupt files, so im having steam at work redownload the job lot,just incase . I cant be doing with that at home on a poxy isdn line :S

Very annoying that it keeps asking for DVD before it will play

Anyone know of a workround? I did NOT install it from DVD, just used the key from the DVD. Given that I used Steam files, a valid key which is now registered only to me, why do they see the need to keep checking for the DVD? That's overkill  :angry:

baa, i just want to go home, ive lost all work motivation.

50 minutes befor i can leave, then a 1h 15 minutes drive home. Then i need todo a few jobs to appease the misses thne i get to play. AHHH cant handle waiting  :dribble:

Gr8 game validated it at 8am like most of the uk did u ntice everything valve wise went down as the servers were working overtime validating steam resources etc.. btw i just noticed those of us who bough the retail pack will not get hl:source or day of defeat source only those with steam silver or gold! another valve money making idea
