Where to play

I played on N42 but that is going the way of the dodo, at least in the european time-slots, I play on the deadmen server if anyone is around, now see that you'll play on CoFR aswell..

Is it passworded over there, or can I just jump in?  I'm such a monogamous bitch I tend to play in one place so advise me..

It is not password protected, but it is not PCS either - and the ping/loss can be a killer at times  

We tend to stick to MeatHook, but when we have insufficient numbers we temporarily nip off to other servers until more players are about.  For example last night I met up with 3 other dMw players at CoFR because nobody was on MH at 9.30pm.  We then went from CoFR back to MH and ended up with 9 on the server until quite late     Moral of the story, if we're not on MH then do a search for dMw players and you'll find where we are...

Perhaps folk could post some server address/web URLs for servers they play on regularly?  I've come across server names a few times in these forums and not been able to find them, and I'd like to play on something other than Jolt (*shudders*), Wireplay (not that I've EVER been able to connect) and uk2 when the MH is empty.

Sadly there haven't been many people on the last few times I've stopped by.

Bugger.....I checked Meathook until 10:30 last night then decided a shower and a wan....err.....wash was in order.

Should I be using gametiger or some such?

well we were on the hook from just after the game and there were about 8or9 or us around til about 10, when i left, there were still a few others playing. i left just after every one had got there.

well i either play on  some of the jolt servers which is rare, most of the time when theres no 1 on the MH i will play FA or TFC

Is the server monitor working? I swear blind I was checking all night last night, and no-one was on, ever.....unless it wasn't refreshing properly?

I'll use gametiger from now on...unless there's a better way...I vaguely remember some server monitor app.

No the server monitor isn't working. Stick to gametiger and such. And as I have posted here earlier ... idle on MH! It won't take long before you got a game going.

All teh above are DM styleee, PCS is only on dMw and N42 as far as I know. CoFR, uBc and CGA are all a very freindly bunch. Worth joining them actually, they are not clans, more gaming communities. They do play sort of clan matches within the communities, battle groups they call them.

All matches are anything goes except cheating so you can run all over the map and can't depend on the boundary protection PCS gives you. MR12 is the norm, 5v5 or 6v6 which means two 12 round halves, one as Ts and one as CTs. Cumulative total wins.

I lke the Clan Base games as most of the clans on there are average skill teams and matches are fair and challenging.

i might try cofr out, i read a little article about them in pcg a while back, they seem like a nice bunch

at present , your server is the only one im absolutely positively 100% sure that no one cheats on so well done on that

Only one problem with CoFR, they are very closed. They have a bunch of servers and to use all but the public CS one, you need to be a member. To get membership you need to get sponsored by a member and even then they can take 6 months to decide. But the folks on the public server are a nice bunch and there is no cheating on there, admins are always around. They are an over 25s community as well.
