Things seem to be settling down on the CS version front now, plus our servers seem to be all set up and working nicely. VS 1.6 seems to be here for the medium term at least and so there doesn't appear to be a mass exodus to CS:S. Also the map makers are starting to churn oy some new maps for CS:Z and CS:S. Therefore I'm going to start up the map rotation/selection process again.

The first job is to get the map rotations sorted and published. Then we can start to look at some new maps and evaluate the old ones. The plans haven't changed from the original ones posted in the sticky threads. There's no intention to start running loads of new maps with changes coming thick and fast. The plan is to drip feed new maps into the rotations so there is a slow but consistent churn of maps.  We also intend to keep the classics fixed in the rotation. So Dust2 , Aztec and Inferno aren't going anywhere just yet  :)

We have a goof selection of CS 1.6 maps already so its CSZ and CS:S that could do with some thought. GFK and BB are already looking at some CS:S maps so we should be able to start adding some interesting stuff in the run up to Xmas.

Once again there's no plan to start hacking the rotations to bits but hopefully we should be able to start slowly adding the best of the new maps for 1.6 CS:Z and CS:S

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.
