On the 10th of September 2004 I ordered an OcUK Value ATI Radeon 9800XT 256MB Graphics card, with this was advertised Hitman Contracts and CS:CZ in a bundle deal.

Delivery took around 2 weeks (Due to the product going out of stock overnight as I placed my order), The Card worked (and still works) fine, hitman contracts also arived in perfect working order, but CS:CZ was absent.

I then e-mailed the company informing them of the absence of CS:CZ and was told "I'm afraid we no longer supply that graphics card with Counter-Strike Condition Zero", this of course is irrelevant as at the time of my order the card shipped with CS:CZ in the package.

I e-mailed them again telling them it was not good enough, they replied by changing their story to state “I'm sorry but it was a miss-type” this contradiction to their previous e-mail left me in a somewhat less agreeable state.

The third e-mail I sent was a request for either the game or gift vouchers/credit note of equal value. This was met with “We no longer will have/did have/do have Counter-Strike Condition Zero, I simply cannot offer it to you” I found this reply to be somewhat offensive and also was fairly sure it was a lie, they were still offering CS:CZ on other card bundle deals.

Assuming the person answering their ‘support’ e-mails was actually some form of angry cave troll I moved onto management. After 2 e-mail to the management’s e-mail address I was finally offered CS:CZ (which I accepted) and also HITMAN, Call of Duty, FarCry, Nascar 2004 (which I declined).

The last contact I had with Overclockers was on 21 October 2004, when they stated that they would send me the CS:CZ cd key as soon as they had it. A month after this I e-mailed them again to find out what was happening, but never received a reply.

Consequent e-mails have seemingly fallen on deaf ears. Snail-mail will be the next move, and possibly a personal visit.

Suggest you try Trading Standards? I assume you have copies of the emails they sent saying that they would supply you with Cd Key?

edited to remove Frenzys post as I had quoted it in full - doh!

I ordered a Sony 19" LCD and an Asus 6800 GT from Overclockers on Mon 17 Jan, paying for overnight delivery.  Nothing arrived on Tue so I phoned them and they said it was in the system but they would refund the delivery charges.

All items arrived on Wed 19 Jan, still waiting for the refund.

And 19" LCDs rock.  Particularly with a gfx card that actually completes 3DMark03 the same day... :dribble:

I must admitt i have never had any problems with OC but you cant beat a well typed and not to threatening letter, and as some one above said trading standards are a good tool too.
