Its a bit weird as well they want a scsi cable replacing coz its to long?

There are strict limits on the length of a scsi bus and I guess they think they've gone over it so the cable ties won't help

The scissors are definately the way to go!!!

I know about the lengths I get the feeling its running between the server and an external tape drive and dangles out of the rack and the customer doesn't like it.

Its become a moot point anyway as the place is shut today so I don't have to go after all. Woot!!
