Well sheeeeet, what a hell of a good game!
My Xbox arrived and with it Splinter Cell, rating 11/10, superb, such a fine game. The graphics, gameplay it's got the lot. Xbox is nice too.
Some great gadgets, lock pick is one of em, not just a little bar that changes as you unlock, nope, but a cross section of a lock that you pick by moving the analogue joystick and know it's unlocking a pin at a time by the force feedback you feel. It also has a spy cam for slipping through keyholes to see who is on the other side!
You can sneak up behind enemies, get them in a head lock and interrogate them, or push their heads agains retina scanners to get through doors.
This game is going to be great for the PC, but not till March 2003!
Cheers, Bert

Sheepy appears and begins to stroke my head. According to his slurred drunken speech I am "lovely and like a fuzzy felt". Thankfully he soon leaves and passes out somewhere. [/quote]

Splinter Cell came out today (28-02-2003) for the PC. Both I and Chimpboy grabbed a copy from HMV this afternoon. I have to take him out for a walk on Friday afternoons as part of my community service order  :(

At least he didn't mess himself this time.

We were visiting the Walkabout, Shaftsbury Avenue WC1 as part of our  work duties. We only popped into HMV on our way back to the car.

I did not leave work till 6.45 this evening and didn't start playing Splinter Cell until gone 9pm... so there  :!:
