I was just looking at the list of users on the forums and came across a user caleld "Googlebot" but with no link to look at it's profile. I don't know if it's something dodgy or what but there you go.

Nope, it is how we have set up the forum to recognise some of the spiders that crawl across our abundant forum pages.  It is perfectly normal.  Other spiders may appear as 'Guest'.
