copy and paste

quite recently i had probs with my adsl connection. my provider asked me for tracerts to a certain site. Now here is the  problem i was getting....
i copied an ip from a folder on desktop then pasted it in my windows comand prompt program. then i wanted to copy and paste the results to my providers admin section but it was pasting the ip from b4 :angry:
is there a way of deleting a copy from the copy/paste memory sort of thing :blink:

it just get on my nerves when things dont do wot ya want em to do <_<

You shouldn't have to delete the clipboard. Just select the results in the ODS window with your mouse then press ENTER which copies that into clipbard overriding anything that was there before.

ODS = DOS
clipbard = clipboard

Drag the mouse over the area you want with the left mouse button held down. then release mouse button and press enter. that will copy whatever was highlighted.

You might need to enable "quick edit" mode for the DOS window which can be found by right clicking the title bar and selecting properties.
