Leicester LAN Party

We have a LAn party in Leicester from time to time. The next is going to be at the end of Feb, beginning of March. Its Â£5 for your 1st visit Â£2 thereafter. We usually play from 2pm - 11:30pm. If anyone is interested in coming along please post below. as soon as I have a definate date I'll let you know. Usual games are CS UT2K3 and Q3 any others by suggestion.

omg thats not hardly enough time to set up ur computer and get pissed. i like 4 DAY LANS!!!!!! they r teh winnar!

With you on that one! :beer: but this helps pass the time inbetween the big Lans and is a pleasant way to waste a saturday!!

Coz thats where we live!! And yes I agree its not exactly civilized but I'm not moving my record collection again for a long time!!

We usually hold them in the big hall on Woodgate opposite the tyre place near the blackbird road junction.

Is there anyone that lives in a part of the UK that is still known to man, (i.e. not Leicester, somewhere more down south, around London area) who fancies a LAN party.

You and friends are cordially invited to the next Woodgate Lan Session on Saturday 31st May 2003 (Weekend after the Bank holiday).

The usual deal, 2pm to 11pm, Â£1 for members, Â£5 for first timers.

The games? Well I will have the installs + patches for Half-life and CS. If you want to play other games (why?) then bring installs / patches / servers etc.

Also switches, servers + naked dancing girls/boys (whatever is your
thang) are always welcome.

9 hours well better than nothing guess its quite a long time except some computers take longer to set up than others :x
