Aszune - Bad News

With wave two of WoW purchasers Aszune is now officially a high population server

....and don't I know it - I'm sitting here in a queue unable to connect at the moment  :angry:

Surely they have stoped ppl from starting characters on high pop servers?

I have to say that if this is the story night after night then I will be transferring to another server (assuming Blizz deign to give us that choice).  I am not going to pay for something that I cannot connect to  :angry:

I'm absolutely steaming here (no pun intended) and am already on my second bottle of wine and still haven't even managed to get to the bloody character page yet  :rant:  

If this carries on I might even have to play on a CS public  :blink:

PS:  Is it just me - Blizz list *all* server *everywhere* as *down*.  True or not true?  :unsure:

Right up until this afternoon Aszune was a Low population server.

Some miserable wave two sh*ts have bought the game (damn them to hell and back) and created a character on Aszune - probably because (1) it was a name they could pronounce and (2) they couldn't remember past 'A' in the alphabet  :bitch:  :bitch:  :bitch:

I need some stronger avatars........and damn it, I need another bottle of wine and I _still_ have *not* logged in yet  :angry:

Well in tonight's top news, I am on my third bottle of wine and _still_ not managed to log in to Aszune.   :rant:

I have managed to get to the 'Retrieving character' page, but then I get disconnected _every_ time.  :angry:

Things are now so bad that (1) management have put my wine cellar on red alert and (2) I have pre-ordered an ambulance for the emergency liver treatment.  Oh and on a lighter note I am listening to and actually quite enjoying an ambient album called Ethi-City - scary I tell you, scary

A lot of servers went down today...this lead to a lot of idiots transferring to other servers with new lvl 1 characters that were up and and making a nuisance ofthemselves and locking those servers up also. There was a 20 min wait to get into Argent Dawn server because of this.

And the AH/Bank area in IF was lag city due to so many loading the area to "protest" about their servers being down.
