Vince, try and stick with the keyboard and mouse especially for the helicopter. planes are a little more difficult, because of the amount of mouse movement needed. but I only had my first proper go in a plane tonight. so the jury is out on that,

Yup, definately use mouse for the helicopter.

I bought a USB joystick for the planes after playing BF-1942 and BF-Vietnam, I can't get to grips with using the mouse for that, only cost about £12 from Makro, its the Saitek-ST90.

good god, trying to fly a helicopter with the mouse is really bad. Stick with the keyboard.

I don't get any complaints from the gunner and passengers. Mouse just seems to be best for me on the Heli.

We usually make it there in one piece (assuming tutonic isn't sat in a Stinger site!)

I'm a mouse and keyboad flyer. not sure how you use one without the other. the only thing i do is to invert the mouse for the plane.
