...except for one or two rounds where the coalition team were very blatantly camping the Iraqui spawn. Several dMw members were involved which was a little off I thought. It may be a new game but I'm sure people have played bf1942 and it's variants to know the basics of sporting play. artillery barrages fine, going in to take out the radar/artillery/uav fine, but full scale camping by half the team, pinning everyone down just isn't sporting. I got annoyed enough to yell ("YELL") at them all and was told to "get a f**king score then". That did not improve my mood (though the subsequent rampage in which I wiped out an apc, a pair of choppers, a buggy and a few infantry to clear out the base felt a bit better). It's just really frustrating to spawn in your uncapturable base and find yourself faced with an enemy tank sitting on the runway...

Do we have BF2 admins yet?

p.s. Tactical Gamer had the sort of guidelines / rules I'd expect of this sort of game

I'd hate to be called a spawn camper....especially if it's true :blush:

I think there are good reasons to head to the oppo's spawn...having said that, once you've knocked out the radar / artillery, there's no reason to stay there. That is cheap.

I'll hold my hands up to once or twice planting C4 on a plane or chopper then hiding giggling waiting for a poor unfortunate to fly off merrily.. I'll not do it again, until the LAN.



I would have thought once we private the server properly, all of dMw are mature enough to know what is right and wrong in terms of gameplay.

That kind of thing is fine to some extent , even destroying the vehivcles or stealing them occasionally might be fine, and the artillery/uav/etc mission objective is part of the game so obviously okay, it was more the fact that the opposition had 2 or 3 ground vehicles, a plane and a chopper or two hanging around the uncapturable spawn picking us off within seconds of us respawning. Ooh it makes me maaaaaaad :ranting: killing them all made me feel better though. Good job there was a repair box thingy next to the tank I found :whistle:
