One thing that came dramatically clear last night, was the need for at least 4 players on each side, preferably more to make it more enjoyable and to enable a decent allocation of attack/defend forces...

Bots? I hear they're much better than the bf1942/bf:v bots.

I reckon dMw vs bots could be fun, like we do in CZ sometimes while waiting for players.

Might have to get this game looks v good :)

What is becoming clear to me is that we are an awful long way from reaching the levels of teamwork we achieve in CS. A game of CS is just simpler. BF2 is more complicated, generally faster paced and instead of being able to communicate to whole team you can only communicate to squad (or commander if you are SL).

Additionally, people are still getting to grips with the controls, the maps, the tactics (we have tactics?) and generally are having lots of fun flying helicopters and jets.

I hope that once the shine wears off we can start working on teamwork because unless we do I don't think this game will have longevity for me - too much like a fragfest at the moment.

For more tactical play we need a comander on each team and for the players to break themselfs down into smaller squads.

At the moment we generally have all the players in one large squad running around covering all the objectives, by breaking things down i think it would work better.

All so it would be a good idea to have a thought out selection of classes. so each squad gets a medic and so on. but frenzy is right about needing a good commander. just had one last game before bed on another public. was lead by a very good commander makes the game a lot more fun. The other thing is that the rest of the squad has to try and follow there squad leader. not just make there own way there.

Larger server would be good too. as we are playing 32 person maps with a max of 20 players. As I can't see the day in the near future of getting 32 dmw plays together at the same time. we should try to team stack. as soon as there is a position free on our most populated side, swap. as the game keeps you on the same side after map changes, it would be long before we are all together and cutting down the frag hunting hordes by the tonne

it's going to be tough to get the thing organised to start with. hopefully we can try and stick with it. I think this game has a huge potential.
