Counter Strike 1.5 / Wierd Spray Stuff Going On!?!?!?
September 12, 2003, 11:53:27 AM
OK... I re-formatted my HDD about a month ago... My first mission (Which I chose to accept) was to get the server password for the meathook PCS server.

After that fateful night of running around like a headless chicken on cs_shogun, I seem to have acquired something that I cant get rid of... TEALEAFS SPRAY!

I have attempted to put my own back on but it wont have it, the strange thing is that everyone else sees Tealeafs spray too... What could this mean? Am I an alter ego of Tealeaf?

I really dont have a clue how I could have got hold of it... Or how I ended up with it in my CS install...   Im quite thoroughly confused....

looks like it took a lot of work but im not really a fan of it.
I wasn't a big fan of it either, it looks like egon and ray have lent him a proton pack and stuck it on his wall... "Dont cross the beams....!" , "Quick! Trap it!"...

That is our aim, we would like to get a gathering of people interested in PCS that like to play during the day as well as in the evening... :D

But yes, I just need to get our forums geared for the map boundaries etc...

Thx for the support guys...

OK, I have talked to my admin team and we are going to be converting our clan server into a passworded PCS server...

The PCS style of play will be an invaluable tool to us as a clan and I would like to invite all of you to play on our server when we have all the necessary mods etc. put on... :)

I've been trying (since an untimely re-format) to get the password back for the PCW servers as I miss them... :(

I haven't really had much time to play CS for the past two months but am getting back into it now...

I've e-mailed admins once or twice but to no avail... Can someone please help me...

A confined to Deathmatch player,

I will be setting up my server as a PCS server in the near future, it is a jolt server, however I have full admin/ftp access to it so shouldn't be a problem. IF you'd like to go take a look the i.p. is 213.208.119.30:27065

Mmmm... Dust 2 as a Quake 3 map, interesting. I wonder how many Spawn fraggers will delight in Dust 2 with a huge amount of players...

Yes, I have done. Inzane was moritified when he saw the map boundaries...:) (He's a born rusher)

I have told them all to send an e-mail to the admins to get themselves set up.

I have notified all our first team players of the link to sign up for the server... and hopefully they should be on there tomorrow night...:)

I will e-mail them a link to all the rules as well... Just to make sure their integration from Deathmatch kill seekers to team players goes smoothly, I don't want them hashing anything up for you guys.

If the server is full Im pretty sure everyone would prefer you playing instead of just sitting there waiting for the right slot on the right team. Thats why I think the asking if you are on the right team is a good idea. If you know you have definitely joined the wrong team, say that you know you have joined the wrong team and will swap at the nearest possible point.

If servers full, I can't see any other way of doing it... (Other than admins force moving people, which is tedious for them.)

Understandable. I try never to use the same position twice in a row, or for that matter twice in a day really on nearly any map unless it is a known strategic strong point (such as end of open corridor leading to T base on Italy).

Just the once or twice is good enough for me... :P

I'm just asking if you guys consider it non PCS play to bunk people up to these specific T camping spots on assault.

The first one is a two man bunk up on the red crates on the right of the front entrance onto one of the lights, it is a good vantage point for taking out people at the front and back entrance, and people dont usually look up there...

Second one is in the hossies room... If you climb up onto the hossies at the back of the room and get a bunk up onto the light on the back wall.

Just wondering if you guys consider that "legit" or not...

Peace,

PCS Discussion / Headphones or Speakers

Quotedo any of u use suround sound speakers? i dont know if cs supports suround sound?

CS since 1.3 (i think) has supported Creatives EAX surround and the Aureal A3D surround.

I use Cambridge soundworks 6.1 speakers for CS and I personally find them very good especially the Y axis directional audio...

Can always tell someone above me or below... The only time they didn't work properly was actually playing against dMw in a clan match. I had a power cut halfway through the match and then had to rejoin with my speakers and everything set to default as all the tweaking is done via an amplifier electronically :( They could have at least put a settings memory chip in it...
