I'm Daniel, some people from way back in Vanilla might remember me as Thierry. A Gnome Mage who I used to raid with. I'm 18 years of age, and still in college. My situation at home is laid back, playing WoW, chilling, chatting, playing football etc .

What kind of internet connection do you have?
Fibrewire ofc!

What are the core specs of your computer?
E8500, P5QPro, Ati 5870, 4 gigs of ram!

How long have you been playing computer games and what kind?
I've been playing computer games for as long as I can remember actually. WoW in general since right after the release.

What kind of raiding experience do you have?
Well, with Silver Oak Guardians I don't really remember anymore how far we've  gotten. Was it AQ40? All I know is that I've cleared everything up to Huhuran with Righteous on my mage. But it's been so long, my memory has lost me :blink:.

Also raided with Genesis on my Rogue, Pokerface. Think I've cleared up to Leotheras?

I started a Death Knight on Kor'gall, the realm where my mates used to play, as soon as Wotlk launched. Dinged 80 as the 2nd DK there, and joined Hostile. A guild mainly orientated around PvP. Wasn't my cup of tea, so I applied for Ronin. The number 1 guild on Kor'gall in the start of Wotlk. Cleared everything, including ToTGC 25 5/5. Sadly I haven't been able to get a Tribute to Immortality on 25 man, due to RNG kicking us in the crotch.

What other guilds have you been in and why did you decide or were forced to move on?

Just migrated, so nope .

What are your plans for the game? In what way would you like others to know you? Tell us about your personality, and why you enjoy the game.
I've stuggled for a long time, thinking and thinking about what to do. Talked things over with my brother, you might remember him as Whisperer. He's playing his rogue on Aszune now, Gnowai. I felt like I needed a break, away from raiding, away from Kor'gall, back to my old home. Back to where I've gotten the best memories in all these years in World of Warcraft.

My main focus now is to prepare my DK as good as possible for Cataclysm. I don't really care about ICC, or Wotlk raids in general anymore. I still enjoy playing my class, pushing it to the max, but I don't feel like doing that anymore in the wotlk raid enviroments.

Some people from the old skool gang might remember me as a pretty straight-forward, cheered up guy. Haven't changed much . I still enjoy the little things in WoW the most, getting a first kill, a first special mount, a special achievement. Things that make me feel satisfied and happy .

Name one thing you don't like about WoW in its current state.
Casualty. Even though I'm actually going casual myself, kinda, I still feel like Wotlk has brought casual gaming to a point it shouldn't have been at. ToC is like a loot pinata, where you bunch 5 *******s which drop some new epix for you. Hate it, a main reason that I've quitted raiding.

Why did you decide to play this class?
I like this question. I've decided to play a Death Knight, not cause it used to be overpowered, but because the whole way it fights really attracted me. Not having to deal with mana is a nice way of controlling fights. The rune system is perfect imo. I also love the whole starting area of DK's, it's really spooky, love it!

What do you look for in a guild?
Well, since I'm not applying for a raidspot, I'll give a different answer then needed probably. I seek home, pleasure, old friends, people who helped me achieve things I couldn't think were possible. Simply, experiencing the best time in WoW again.

Some last words, I'd like to say. If you lack a DK, and I'm online, you could always ask me to help out. I have no idea if you're still doing Ulduar hardmodes, but I can always supply some tactics, pro dps or a laugh if needed .

It was a pleasure to be in SoG. I had a lot of fun, especially with you Marduk, Sebas and ofcourse everyone else in RG2 (And RG1)
 
Since i was demoted to Soldier because of me not being able to join the raids, i wanted to raid again. It was so boring not doing BWL anymore, that i was looking for a new guild with a better raidingscheme for a long time. I finally found the right guild (Righteous Rg2). And i will join this guild.
 
But still, it's hard typing the /gquit, with all the great and funny memories still fresh in my little gnomish mind.
 
Rg1, i wish ya'll the best of luck in Aq 40, and ofcourse Naxxramas. That the four horsemen may bite the dust real soon :taz:
 
Rg2, i love ya all. Can't really tell how hard it is to write this, really almost making me cry. But giving up on ya was one of the hardest things to do. Good luck in Bwl, and Aq 40 in the future.

I was there that run, and Xblast, Althax and me were the only mages. I tried to informed him on what to do, and i knew it was his first time. I whispered the RL and told him that Althax was here for the first time. No response. Then i told it in RC, no response again. So it isn't my fault really.
 
But i totally understand your point, and i hope that the RL's will take care of it next time.

Very sad to see you leave, especially after reading above posts. Have fun in your new guild, but as most people do, i will be looking forward to see you come crawling back in a couple of weeks...
