Quote from: albert;436142Very pretty, what model is that, looks jazz bass but with different pickups?

It's a Squire Affinity PJ Bass. As beginners guitars go, they're not half bad

Learn with a metronome, keeping time very important as a bass guitarist, you've got to keep everything locked down solid... Also best wishes, I've been playing for nearly 40 years, still learning, still improving, still loving it.

Just looking for period sports cars that you might have seen at Spa alongside 917's. I have a 512S that I downloaded end of January, but where I got it... I'll look around and post a link if I find it.

Awesome! What kind of music do you play on it?

Your Agile, or an object of desire?

I'd go for the 240Gb. I did a build with a 120 SSD/2Tb HDD, with instructions to install programs on the HDD, and keep their files there also. Guess how well that worked out

Off topic, but, ooooooh, nice guitar! What is it?

I'd avoid second hand SSD's. When I first wanted to try one out I bought a second hand one on Ebay. It was fine for about six months, and then the rot set in, eventually not booting. You could repair it, and it would run, but sooner or later it would do it again. After five times I bit the bullet and bought new and never looked back. No opinion on w10, only used a few times when looking at troublesome PC's, use W7 64 myself.
Are rad-it and softwaregeeks, because I need a couple of OS's for new builds I'm doing (extended family IT support guy........)

Hi Seany, how's things? I tried to join on Weds, but no sign of the server. Just tried again now and found it, no problem. Bought all the Porsche DLC on release, who could resist. Can't wait to drive a 917....
Looking forward to racing with you guys again, will be fun.

I'm loving it (even more...). Hardly any sleep last night due to playing, now paying for it, but worth it!

Quote from: vobler;385627Later this summer, I expect in the Beta, he says we will have matchmaking and friends lists. This and groups will make it possible to go fly with your friends. Even simple trading might be much safer with an escort.
I'm looking forward to that aspect. Trading runs in a large ship, or exploring uncharted areas, with an escort could be interesting. Even using an apparently lone Hauler as pirate bait....

Just my thoughts, but I'm loving it. Sure the trading model is broken at the moment, and my combat skills suck, but there's something about the game that I find really engaging and so end up playing it a lot. For me it still has the feeling of the Beeb version, and the idea of being able to explore the galaxy is one reason it appeals to me, and I will be playing, hopefully, as a trader/explorer when more systems get added. If I want to fly around and shoot things up I'll play World of Warplanes. I shelled out for premium beta access through Kickstarter, which gives you more start options and not just the extras mentioned on this forum. I thought the cost worth it, just to get the game started, as did appoximately 10,000 others, and when you look at some other Kickstarter campaigns, not bad value for money. Don't know about TrackIR, but I borrowed a mates Oculus Rift and that just blew me away, so that is on my shopping list now. Just my tupenn'orth
