So BB how did you manage to stop all voice comms?  :lmfao:

Well I kept talking even if no-one heard me
I do exactly what the little voices tell me to.

PC Specs:- Black box with some fans that go whirrr, a few lights, things inside that get warm, headphones, keyboard (a clicky one), mouse (with buttons and no squeak), disks (2-off SSD and HDD) and a monitor of sufficient proportions.

Ahah! Not just me then. I also got dumped a couple of times to the point where paranoia set in.

Same here. No comms. Tried to do a decent job as a SL without comms.... worse than usual!   :D

Toxteth

I think it was the same for everyone

It was better than when my computer decided to go insane on TG.

BB implemented some changes to stop the server from changing to one of its other IP addresses, which it has been doing occasionally.

OB reversed them, but it still didn't make any difference to VOIP.

sulky_uk

then my soundcard died .... which was nice

so i unpluged my audigy and gone to the motherboard soundcard and it sounds pants but it doesnt squeel spent an hour on tg no probs

I came into this world with nothing,
through careful management I\'ve got most of it left.

Doorman

And where has BB gone? He was last seen heading over the sea to Skye.

correct. What I did notice late last nigh was that somebody had enabled remote server for VOIP in the 32 player profile. I have removed the REMOTE VOIP settings from the profile because we use our game server for VOIP and restarted the server. I need someone to test voice comms now.

I added that remote server as a last attempt to get comms working. Still didn't work.

For your info BB ...

We had no comms on the server last night. In truth we had some comms but there was no ability to talk to all your squad. I tried restarting the server with different profiles - no joy. I killed the server and started it up using just console - no joy.

Any ideas?

Just been on, Doggers can hear me but he has no comms anyay so I don't know if its two way (I had to manually remove all remote VOIP setting as the CC wouldn't get rid of them properly
