I came into this world with nothing,
through careful management I\'ve got most of it left.

It's interesting. It just shows that my computer is still ahead of the curve. Only 8% of people with DX10 have a 4800 series card and DX10 users make up 25% of the total steam market.
Also only 13% have move to quad.
Juggling Hard Disks over concrete floors ends in tears 5% of the time.

A point to note is that before users had to accept and submit their results.

I haven't had one of these popup boxes for a while and certainly not in February. Therefore the results may be estimates as not everyone on steam will have submitted their results it acts as a good guide though. Although maybe valve have built the new survey into steam's platform.

Also they don't seem to differentiate between hyperthreading and 2 cpu's so could some of the HT pc's show up as 2 cpu?

They have a separate listing in "other settings" below known as hyper threading however.

HT enabled CPU's show up as dual core, i guess valve doesnt know better as we all know HT = crap :)
