Problems with the LFD Survivor dmw server since recent LFD update

Ok bit of a long post and not 56k friendly so bear with me.

The LFD survivor server was having a couple of problems before the update. Basically, if we called a vote for a new map it would die (show the retrying connection message) kick the players out and then come back online with the new map after showing as offline on hlsw for around 30 seconds.

The following has now started happening and so i believe a couple of settings need switching around to solve the server dieing problem and to solve the new problem that i outline below.

I have uploaded all the screenshots into 1 compressed folder which is at the bottom of this post.

Screen one shows a custom content loading screen for our survivor server. what should happen is the campaign poster should show, well thats what other servers do anyway.

Screen 2 shows the server gui glitch that is only apparant on our server. Tested on four clients, duvel, hunk, jewelz and myself.

Basically the campaign can be selected but the level can be clicked but the pop out menu does not display or show meaning users can't use the call a vote feature as we can't select the level or campaign to action a vote.

Screens six and seven show the correct gui behaviour.

The server also does seem to be allowing palyers to join in game via the steam community servers service as when the server is there and you click to join the join game link is opaqued usually meaning the server is full but it is empty.

Currently i can only join the server via hlsw as the in game feature isn't working and the server is no longer showing in my steam community part of my lfd main menu.

With the game....Went to our pub server earlier, tried to change the map (just me and 3 bots). hit the "call a vote" tab but, although it would allow me to change the "chapter", it would not show me any of the episodes of the chapter so that I could change.

Before the update of last week, this was possible.....

Anyone?

been trying to get on the server tonight - every time i join im there for 10-20 secs then it says im having a connection problem - my connection is stable have been playng fine in other games

It says it's fixed the voting bug but I just tried it and it looks like you can still only select a new campaign.:sideways:

Its unique to our server.

Maybe we need to start from scratch and let it download the files again?

Still having the same issues.

In addition sometimes the server makes the survivor counter appear for a campaign scenario.

An admin can change the map but only very few of the actual maps available work properly. So usually i organize for those who want to play survivor to join another server.

Can anyone think of any solutions?

Maybe a complete wipe and reinstall is the best way to go!

I noticed problems with some of the maps that didn't seem to work in Survivor game mode. Changed it to another one and it worked. It seems that just some maps that it has a problem with.
