Had the kids (and me) mesmerized....

Most impressive bit for me is the 'thump' that you see when the main engines ignite at launch and for a couple of seconds as the shuttle accelerates upwards past the launch tower, you get some idea of the thrust & acceleration generated by the main engines & booster rockets that 'explode' several hundred thousands of pounds of space shuttle and cargo off the launch pad and into the air. Seriously impressive.

Now if only they did the sound track too...... :norty:
