The beta for Horizon 2.3 is released, no multicrew for now, but it will be added.

Things like asteroid hangars, mega ship landing, fixed wave scanner for SRV, ship naming, ship limit per station upped to 35 (30 in game), discovery and detailed surface scanner blueprints at the engineers for faster exploration data gathering.

Is access to the Beta limited to testers or early backers or can anyone apply?

Anyone can pay, £4.99. But that's for Horizons beta only, when v3 comes out eventually it's a new beta entirely. I expect they have up to 2.5 before moving the v3. I would say it's not that big a deal to beta test, as it's buggy as hell and nobody else is doing it in the community.

Multicrew is now more lucrative and scales more linearly whilst making insurance for the helmsman lower by 30% per crew member. Good for making the play less cautious.

I'm wondering if the big event on Saturday evening can be joined in multi mode!
