Antivirus and Firewall needed

A word of caution. Some of these top-rated AV solutions can have an impact on gaming in various ways. BitDefender did cause me problems with CS but that may have been all sorted by now.

Because, like most people these days, my computer now sits behind a router with inbuilt protection I find that the following serves me well enough ...

Avast.
Spywareblaster.
Windows Firewall (XP)
Windows Defender.

All free and absolutely no gaming hit at all.

NOD32 didn't stop some virii for me, so I went to back to AVG and Windows Firewall. Been ok ever since. Do a weekly scan with Ad-Aware for spyware...
