LAN XIII - Itinerary, Games and Comps list

It's not in stone, but here we go, no major suprises. Your loving LAN team will be on hand with additonal patches, essential files and maps for your use.

Supported games will be BF2, CS in it's incarnations and LFS. Extras, I'm sure will appear such as CoD4, Monkey Island 2 - THe Hunt for Bennys Bedroom, etc. Remember that the list below is the official compo's only, LFS will make regular appearances as I'm sure will many other games....

Friday
No fixed competitions, but general gaming and bar action including -

It's Friday it's TF2 night. All in a room, everyone tipsy, built in 'taunt' key, it's made for it
It's been a long time coming - Soldat will appear, even if it's just me vs. Sheepy.

Saturday - Compos

   CS competitions
   Cup Matches : 11:30 Onwards, Final at 1:00   7/8 teams, standard knockout. should be around 8 matches to give us a table with the Cup Winners at the top.
MAP: (roadhouse or supply)
      Suprise Cup Compo. Details to be announced on day, run straight after match if poss.
   Deagle Comp : 5pm
       Sign up on white board, we pick you and your partner out of a pint glass then we draw out of a hat to pick matches, you lose, you're out. BF2 - Server Up and Running all day : Tourney @3pm
1 hour 30minute slot for tourney then open server for mass game. *(Maps to be confirmed)
Assuming 4 teams : Play each map just once. Coin toss decides MEC/US. 20 minute games, 10 minute break. Any arguments and Paddy said he'd kill you all with a patented 'Hull handshake'.
Sunday
Peel self off carpet and go home.

Feel free to complain, no-one is listening, sticking with LAN tradition things will develop over the weekend and I'm sure we'll all get dragged into games and unofficial competitions as we go. Until then, don't have nightmares, do sleep well,

LAN XIII is coming and it's going to be a blinder!

You won't need to buy Live for Speed as we will be running the demo only.

TF2 ... I checked both play.com and amazon have it marked as being released on 11 Apr 2008 ...?
