Sorry guys, i must sort myself out. After a hectic day and a dfp wheel that didnt want to be a wheel anymore, i finally got in 35 sec's into the race and with no vent. I'd made a decent time in my practice so i thought i'd be ok and maybe a lap or two down wouldnt matter too much.

It doesn't work like that.

I joined a few laps down, picked up my pace and waited for everyone elses mistakes. NOT. The blue flag came up for about 6 laps before there was anyone in my mirrors and that put me off somewhat (excuse no. 60987) Aqui' went by in the end with some one else but still that blue flag.
Then... just as i could see them in the mirror, everything let go at once. In a desperate attempt to keep clear i ended up in the very first garage at about 140mph it seemed, lol. The same angle as a pitstop but totally in the garage. Hmmm. T'was a sign. Give up and go for beer.

I really must get to grips with this as i seem to be giving way all the time and i'm so worried i might spoil someone elses race. If im being a menace, please tell, i will be offended :D.

Well done Bryne. I was a speckled tater for a while and wondered if you'd make it to the end in front. Good on ya.

Phew, thank god!

After reading all this stuff about the race I am so so so glad....

....to see you can have fun without me! I must say I was a bit getting tired on having to "pull the cart" all the time, because sometimes you are a tough audience. :tumbleweed:

But I do my best as I like to say. :boxing:

Congrats to all who finished and .... finished! :woot2:

Congrats Scratchy with your win! :stroke:

You were just fine. I can't remember any problems. You seem to have the same fear as me - about spoiling someones race :)

It was decided before the race in this combo you don't have to care so much about blue flags (read some pages back) because you are lapped immediately if you pit. Besides you don't have to drive off the track in any situation. The blue flag text comes quite early, so just wait until he comes closer and then let him pass is some appropriate place. In this combo when Bryn was lapping me I had to watch the text maybe for couple of laps before he came close enough. Even then I just left the inside lane free and continued at my normal speed.
