You're just kidding, right?

Seany

come on, you know you want to :boxing::racing: :D

Deetz

Hey, looks like I have a week off :)
dMrDeetz is currently :

Doorman

I have to say that it's pretty brainless. The only thing I can see that makes for an interesting few moments is the pitting!

Is it an "You have to your enemy to defeat them" kind of thing or what?

Come on guys, there are proper cars and tracks in LFS, let's use them!

We do. This week we are using the combo as seen. Take a week off if you'd rather not participate.

All right, all right, I didn't mean it. Happy racing! :byebye:

I have a bit 50-50 feeling about this.

The track is boring as hell (as a track). I have raced oval with GTR cars earlier (top speed was around 280km/h iirc). That can be fun for some time, if you have a large number of racers. That can cause very tight racing, lot of slipstreaming and you have to be careful not to brush walls. Racing at that speed (BF1 even faster) in a tight pack can be an adrenalin rush and spins and collisions are spectaculiar usually.

The potential problem is that if you mess the start you are left behind and cathing the runaways is very very hard. The fastest way around the track must be as a part of a group or team and splistream each other in turns. If you are left alone...bye bye...see you at the end flag. My problem is that I cannot make a decent start with BF1 (TC on or off) so I mess the start with 100% probability.

I didn't know what to think of this combo to start with but after Sean showed me how to race an oval properly i have to say i enjoy it:D
It is a completly different way of racing but still very enjoyable.LFS gives you loads of challanges and i just see this as a new one iv'e never tried before.
What ever the combo racing is racing:yahoo:

I'm taking a week off. With force feedback disabled I managed 3 3rd places driving with 1 hand, whilst the other was petting a cat, playing the piano or... I rather not tell that....okay, you win, while the hand was suppressing a yawn.

Racing while being able to follow the Turkey-Croatia match on television is not racing.

The only excitement is the start and pitting. A total waste for this great car. Esp seeing that the UF1000 is next :-/

the oval would not be one of my first choices for the bf1, probably my last..
it is part of lfs that i haven't really explored before
so with an open mind i had a quick race with bhr earlier,
it was ok, but not my cup of tea, but i'm sure that 120 laps round there is a challange that some will relish :norty:
It is better to stay quiet and act the fool, than to say something and remove all doubt

well all I'll say is please, even if you don't really like it, come along tomorrow for the team racing.  One problem with this combo is if theres less than 6 cars on the track it does get boring, even for those who like it.

Aquilifer :- would it not be possible to alter 1st and 2nd gear so that they don't spin up the wheels on the green light? and use a more aggressive traction control setting.

Crazy :- that was a blast alright :D glad your enjoying it :) .

Odd thing about this combo is your either racing on your own (easier than any other combo there is), or your doing that constant passing (which I find requires more concentration than any other combo) :D

Yep. The fun comes when there are enough players (if there is fun)

Guess what that does to clutch? In FO8 that worked somehow, but this fryes it. Too bad, you cannot put TC to 0% slip and 0m/s min speed

Aquilifer

Are you going to use race_s tonight? Wing is totally unnecessary here, so maybe some exception in this case? :g:

Jamin

A control set is needed then, any suggestions?
