Amazing concept that helps reduce the bulk of the 'world's biggest plug' that we in the UK have for our electricals.

This article at Engadget has a picture and a video to demonstrate the new gizmo.

BTW - the observant early LAN attendees amongst you will recognise the plug being tested on the The Olde Griffin Hotel's ring main. :flirty:

I like it. All the advantages of a much smaller plug while keeping all the features which make it one of the worlds safest plugs. I love the idea of the multi-adaptors, that is much better than a 4-gang or 3-way splitter.

Wow that's brilliant.

UK plugs are infuriating to say the least. I mean, with the advent of netbooks, the flipping power adapter and plug pretty much doubles the space needed.

That multi adapter is also cracking. I'd buy em by the truckload and start replacing the moulded plugs on my kit.

And.....I suppose....the plug.......

But without the  4 gang or 3 way splitter the Houses of Parliament will be a much more austere environment for expenses.....are you sure you truly agree with that decision?, or shall we elect a Toady (because he's one of us in over-claiming expenses) retard, who is so slimy, he makes Simon Cowell look like a saint........and who could imagine the extent of MP's expenses whilst claiming for the "new technology" that is a must have for Politicians.....when they don't even claim for the "Relaxation Services" that many of them enjoy! !

(Source....my mate down the pub and several "young ladies" of whom I share a working class background with).

Of course, I could be misinformed, for a substantial sum of money, paid into my Swiss bank account, but like most Politicians, I would insist on Immunity from Prosecution!!:taz:
