We are delighted to announce that whilst Delankster is otherwise engaged, Brother 'Lt' Tobious has agreed to step up and run the Arma 2 section. It's a great time to step in, we're getting more regulars from outside our dMw group and we're beginning to establish a good core of missions. You'll have all seen BroTo's efforts on the video front and we're sure it's just a start (no pressure). So, I'm sure you'll all join us in congratulating Brother Tobious and will support him in his efforts within the section.

Sorry about last night.

I know it's me blowing these missions and I feel dumb.

One of my (many) problems is not seeing people. Oldie can firect me all he likes but I just can't see the patrol that's in front of my eyes. Actually, I've just had a thought and may well crack out the binos, perhaps that would help 'cause I'm failing to see people through the gun sights. I look at the map and I point myself in the right direction but I just can't see them. Frustrating for me - dou9bly so for you I imagine.

Anyway, Sorry for my screw-ups.... must...... try....... harder.

Dont worry Pen, it took me an age and it will come with practice, so means you have to be on the servers more mate.  But we were all learners at this once, just shout me or an admin or anyone on the server if you feel you need more help, mate.

Knowing in which general direction the target is is just the start. You then need to coordinate together as a team to get enough people with eyeballs on them to be able to execute the kill. That's the bit that's real tricky to achieve but so damn satisfying when you do it well.

Spacebar is your friend Pen, if you sweep it across your view it should turn red when you hit a hostile.

Don't worry about it too much though, it's meant to be hard!

It's when you can shoot a runner that the best reward comes in. Still targets aren't too bad once you find them. I wouldn't worry, everyone here still struggles to find the buggers when there's a panic on.
