I did have a look at the Dropbox for Business. Unlimited storage for $15 per month per user which would be attractive. Doubly so as it also sits alongside your personal dropbox.

The only caveat is that it's a minimum of five users. would anyone be interested in buying in for one of the extra licences if I signed up?

Details here: https://www.dropbox.com/business/pricing

Is this due to windows live sync/ mesh ceasing?

I moved to Cubby with a 100gb account however once this ends I will probably move to torrent sync.

Have you tried that?

The issue I have with torrent sync is that many networks stop bit torrent

No, I just fancy the idea of unlimited real time cloud storage. I use Cubby for syncing across my machines so home is backed up to the office and the laptop (and vice versa) but dropbox business seems like a good option for unlimited online storage for $15 per month for a decent service. My Cubby is 100GB but really that's small fry with the 700GB of need backed up.

Got 60 Gig at onedrive due to its brilliant integration with windows 8 ;) (currently use win 8 pro main rig/Nokia Lumia 920/Surface 2 pro)
Data replication between two NAS servers which is then backed up on a SAN on my company ;)
