Hey guys,

So after completing the redstone needed to configure the extension of the day time, I went to test sleeping and a problem has arisen.

If we are to extend the day using only IN GAME commands then we wont be able to use beds to skip the night as the system runs on a Forced tick by tick basis. (as explained in these links: https://gaming.stackexchange.com/questions/129607/is-there-a-way-to-slow-down-the-day-night-cycle https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Day-night_cycle )

If we go for this idea then it would mean night times are going to be a lot harder in general. and the beds would only serve as a custom spawn for each player.

I have currently left the gamerule daynightcycle ON so the server is currently running a default day night cycle. I will look into how to change the day length via server folders tonight but for now NO change has been made to the server.

Cheers guys and sorry I could get the thing to work yet. =D

Thanks for the hard work, mate. Hope the research works out. Let me know if I can help in any way.

TBH it was very rare that I used the bed to skip nights, i only used them as spawn locations. I dont think that would matter too much. But if you can sort it the other route, then cool.

through careful management I\'ve got most of it left.

Unfortunately I haven't had too much success in the research area as  I have been quite busy recently and am now also going to be offline for a week as im on set from tomorrow. I'll have a real crack at it when im back!

Take your time mate, I'm sure those playing are just happy to have a server here again. There's no need to rush at all.
