Giga Tame

After last nights failed attempt at the Giga tame due to it swimming off and the pilots deciding they didn't want to carry the tranquilizing team on a couple of occasions, we discussed having another attempt this evening.  I've made up over 500 tranq arrows and have enough narcotics for the tame but forgot I won't be online until after 8pm as I have a tennis match.  Please start without me if your ready as I'm sure it'll still be on the go when I get home!

How do we get such a beast to stand still? I noticed in the game that the animals will move in relation to the players around them so if we get it in a good position to nail it full of narc then we all have to stop moving. Perhaps on person on a bird can herd it into a corner near ruins and everyone else can be on top of the ruid with crossbows ready to unleash? The the one on the bird conserves energy and hovers for as long as it takes, so a high stamina bird.
Also the Giga has a x3 bonus for head shots so we should aim for the head, it's noggin is about the size of a Trike anyway so it should be easy to hit.
